Promotion Guide for Community Influencers
Thank you for participating in the DHIT HIV Innovation Sprint! The Sprint is a unique way to spur innovations to help prevent HIV. As someone closely involved in HIV prevention in your community, you have an opportunity to help engage others in the Sprint and invite them to bring their ideas, knowledge and passion. These tips are designed to help you reach out to people in your network who might have an interest in participating in the Sprint or learning more about it. Use these as a starting point, then customize your outreach and language in ways that are appropriate for your audience. We have also added some supporting documents and social media images towards the bottom of this page.

I want to let you know about an opportunity in HIV prevention here in the Southeast that I’m excited about. The HIV Innovation Sprint is taking place starting with a Discovery Day, and I’d love for you to consider joining.
The Sprint is being developed by the Digital Health Institute for Transformation. I’ve spoken with DHIT and can’t wait to get started with the Sprint they’ve designed. Following Discovery Day, a two-day Design Challenge takes place, and from there, teams will be selected to move forward with their innovations and make a presentation at a digital health summit next March.
The idea is to bring people with an interest in HIV prevention together to create innovative solutions to the challenges we face.
